Growing vegetables in South Florida comes with unique challenges, but choosing the right plants makes all the difference.
At Incredible Edible Landscapes, we grow our annual vegetable starter plants right here in our nursery, from seed, using varieties specifically selected to thrive in South Florida's growing conditions.
Our team of experienced vegetable gardeners carefully selects every variety based on firsthand growing experience, heat and humidity tolerance, and resistance to common pests and diseases. We frequently source certified organic and heirloom seeds, prioritizing varieties that have demonstrated success in our subtropical climate.
No guesswork. Just great plants, grown by people who know what works.
Why Choose Our Vegetable Starter Plants?
π± Grown In-House From Seed - We start our vegetable plants right here in Loxahatchee, giving them attentive care from germination until they're ready for your garden. Β We use organic practices to grow all of our plants, so these are ready for your organic veggie garden at home.Β
βοΈ Selected for South Florida - Not every vegetable variety is suited to our subtropical climate. We choose varieties with South Florida's heat, humidity, seasonal growing windows, and pest and disease pressures in mind.
π Chosen by Experienced Growers - Our selection isn't based on what's popular in a national seed catalog. It's informed by years of hands-on gardening experience and firsthand knowledge of which varieties perform well in local gardens.
πΏ Organic & Heirloom Seed Options - We frequently grow from certified organic and heirloom seeds, offering carefully selected varieties that bring exceptional flavor, diversity, and productivity to your garden.

How Custom Growing Works

Order increments: Plants must be ordered in multiples of 12 per variety (12, 24, 36, etc.).
Variety specific quantities: Each group of 12 must be the same variety. For example, you can request 12 San Marzano tomato plants, but not a mixed tray of 12 different tomato varieties.
Growing lead time: Please allow approximately 6 weeks for your custom-grown plants to be ready. Β Peppers will require 6-8 week lead time.
Availability: Custom growing requests are subject to seed availability, seasonal suitability, and nursery growing capacity.
